About the Distillery

Blanton's Bourbon, produced by the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, holds the distinction of being the original single barrel bourbon. Introduced in 1984 by Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee, it was named in honor of Colonel Albert B. Blanton, a former president of the distillery who is credited with preserving its legacy during Prohibition.
