Text Messaging (SMS/MMS)

When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Online Privacy Protection of Minors

The Site is intended only for persons 21 years of age or older. Take Your Pick Liquors does not knowingly collect, online or offline, personal information from persons under 21. If you are under 21, you must exit the Site now. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 21, we will delete it.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right to access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Right to delete: request that we erase your personal information, subject to the limits described below.
Right to correct: if you have an account, you can update your name, email address, and saved addresses at any time by signing in. For any other correction, contact us and we will update your record.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a request, email Contact@takeyourpickliquors.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. To protect your information, we verify your identity before fulfilling a request, typically by confirming the request comes from the email address on your account or orders. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.

Access requests. We will provide a copy of the personal information associated with your customer record, including your contact details, addresses, and order history.

Deletion requests. When we erase your personal information, your name, contact details, and addresses are removed from your customer record and from the apps connected to our online store. Order records are kept in de-identified form for tax, accounting, and alcohol compliance purposes. If you placed an order within the last 180 days, erasure is completed once 180 days have passed since that order, to allow for payment disputes and chargebacks. We will also ask other service providers we have shared your information with, such as our email and text messaging providers, to delete it.

We will respond to your request within 45 days of receiving it, or within any shorter period required by applicable law, and will tell you if completing a deletion is delayed for the reasons above.

Appeals

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing Contact@takeyourpickliquors.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond to your appeal within the time required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with the result, you may contact your state attorney general.

Global Privacy Control

Our Site honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. In regions where opt-out rights apply, if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.
