Tasting Notes

Nose: Initial aromas burst with rich, dark fruits – dried figs, dates, and stewed plums, intertwined with a distinct brown sugar and molasses sweetness. Vanilla bean and toasted oak are prominent, alongside warming spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, and a hint of clove. Underlying notes of leather, pipe tobacco, and a faint minerality add complexity.

Palate: The palate is remarkably full-bodied and robust, delivering a powerful yet refined experience. Waves of caramel, toffee, and dark chocolate lead, quickly followed by the return of dried fruit notes (raisins, prunes). The ex-bourbon influence is evident with sweet vanilla, baking spices, and a peppery oak spice that balances the sweetness.
