Standing as a cornerstone of the acclaimed Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, George T. Stagg represents the pinnacle of uncut and unfiltered barrel-proof whiskey. Presented at a commanding 129.2 proof, this coveted limited-edition release delivers profound structural depth with concentrated dark fruit, dry spice, and robust oak.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Deep aromas of luxardo cherries, pipe tobacco, charred oak, and rich molasses, layered with dark baker's chocolate and toasted vanilla bean.
Palate: Massive, viscous, and uncompromising, coating the palate in roasted espresso beans, dark stewed fruits, leather, and fiery cinnamon spice.
Finish: Monumentally long and warming, dominated by persistent dry oak tannins, aged leather, cracked black pepper, and lingering dark toffee.
