Tasting Notes
Nose: A captivating and complex bouquet, opening with delicate floral notes of rose and lily, beautifully integrated with sweet orange blossom honey, hints of white chocolate, and subtle whispers of sandalwood and incense, characteristic of Mizunara oak. Underlying fruit notes of ripe apricot and red berries emerge with further exploration.
Palate: The entry is remarkably smooth and plush, immediately showcasing a harmonious balance of sweet and savory. Honeyed sweetness intertwines with candied orange peel, butterscotch, and a touch of dark cherry. Mid-palate, a gentle spice emerges, reminiscent of cinnamon and nutmeg, complemented by a delicate bitterness from dark chocolate and a hint of a lightly smoked, perhaps malty, characteristic. The mouthfeel is soft, refined, and exceptionally well-integrated.
Finish: Medium to long, clean, and elegant. The sweetness lingers, evolving into a pleasant, drying oak presence and a subtle spice. Notes of plum and a touch of the characteristic Mizunara sandalwood return on the gentle fade, leaving a sophisticated and memorable impression. No harshness, just a graceful departure.
