A delicate undercurrent of baking spices – cinnamon, nutmeg, and a whisper of clove – emerges, followed by a faint herbaceousness, suggesting aged leather and pipe tobacco.

Palate: The palate offers a velvety and complex entry, coating the mouth with rich butterscotch and candied orange peel. The twelve years in oak are evident in a refined oak spice, balanced by sweet corn and a touch of dark chocolate. Hints of almond paste and dried fruit, particularly fig and raisin, join a gentle rye spice that provides a pleasing counterpoint to the sweetness.

Finish: A long, warm, and exceptionally smooth finish. The sweetness lingers with notes of browned sugar and vanilla, slowly fading into pleasant, dry oak and a subtle peppery spice. A fleeting whisper of cherry and a gentle drying sensation invites another sip, leaving a clean, sophisticated impression.
