Straight Rye Whiskey Batch #1 is a true one-of-a-kind whiskey. It is made from 51% rye and 49% malt, and it is aged 6 1/2 years. We blended 8 barrels to create this batch, and we only have 1138 bottles available. This whiskey is uncut and unfiltered, and it is bottled by hand at 118 proof.
Tasting Notes:
The nose is nutty-sweet hazelnut and pine, with baking spices that add to its complexity. The palate starts with sweetness before unleashing full-bodied spices that coat your entire mouth.
