LeNell’s Darker Side of the Moon Rye Whiskey. 110 proof. For this rare and exceptional release, a 6 year rye cask was chosen by blind vote with approval from LeNell to be aged in her original Dark Side of the Moon barrel. This barrel had hitherto aged both her 15 year bourbon and an imperial stout. The stout was bottled after one year, and the barrel was then filled with straight rye whiskey. The result is a rye with a complexity and smoothness beyond its years. With deep oak notes, and hints of cocoa and kola nut from its mild stout influence, this whiskey is sure to impress even the most discriminating connoisseur.

LeNell’s Lighter Side of the Moon Rye Whiskey. 113 proof. For this rare and exceptional release, a 6 year rye cask was chosen by blind vote with approval from LeNell to be aged in her original Light Side of the Moon barrel. This barrel had hitherto aged both her 7 year bourbon and a Blackberry Berliner Weisse. This sour beer was bottled after one year, and the barrel was then filled with straight rye whiskey. This experiment yielded a whiskey that has subtle herbal notes and a bright and bold body filled with voluptuous fruit undertones including plum, peach, and berry compote.
