There's an underlying nuttiness, perhaps roasted peanuts, adding a touch of complexity.

Palate: A surprisingly soft entry for a 100-proof spirit, quickly blossoming into rich caramel and toffee. The mid-palate introduces a pleasant mix of orchard fruits – green apple and pear, with a slight peppery spice that tingles the tongue. The oak influence is well-integrated, providing structure without bitterness, and a creamy mouthfeel develops.

Finish: Medium-long and warming, the finish gently fades with lingering notes of sweet vanilla, a touch of charred oak, and a pleasing spice that lingers but doesn't burn. A subtle malty sweetness and a hint of dark chocolate emerge at the very end.

https://takeyourpickliquors.com/products/barton-tom-moore-kentucky-straight-bourbon-whiskey-100-proof-plastic-1-75-liter
