The high rye content lends a subtle herbaceousness, almost like fresh mint or dill, mingling with a touch of toasted oak.

Palate: The entry is robust and lively, reflecting its higher proof. A wave of spicy rye dominates, showcasing black pepper, star anise, and a touch of ginger. This quickly transitions into a richer sweetness of dark honey, brown sugar, and butterscotch, balanced by semi-sweet chocolate and a pronounced oak char. There's a chewy texture that coats the palate, with a pleasing warmth that spreads evenly.

Finish: The finish is long, warm, and peppery, with the rye spice lingering beautifully. Notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a touch of leather emerge, complemented by a persistent sweetness of burnt sugar and a final, satisfying oak dryness. The higher proof ensures a lasting and memorable embrace.
