Uncut and unfiltered, 'The Reserves' offers a sensory journey inspired by Booker Noe’s relentless pursuit of exceptional flavor, culminating in a powerful, fruit-forward, and intensely spiced expression.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Initial aromas burst with vibrant apple and pear, layered over a foundation of spicy rye, black pepper, and faint clove. A rich, sweet caramel note emerges, interwoven with suggestions of baked apple pie, brown sugar, and a comforting touch of cinnamon toast. Subtle oak undertones provide depth, hinting at the whiskey's maturation.

Palate: The palate is a compelling interplay of robust rye spice and luscious fruit. Sweet baked apple and warm apple compote immediately greet the tongue, quickly followed by a powerful wave of cinnamon, reminiscent of red hot candies but with a more natural warmth. Underlying notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and dark caramel from the Beam distillate provide balance. The high proof, though unknown, is evident but well-integrated, delivering a full-bodied, chewy texture with a delightful peppery kick.

Finish: A long, lingering finish that elegantly combines sweet and spicy elements. The warmth of cinnamon persists, gradually fading into notes of dried apple and a pleasant tannic grip from the oak. Hints of baking spice, dark chocolate, and a final whisper of rye's peppery character ensure a memorable, complex departure.
