This is beautifully interwoven with sweet undertones of dried orange peel, vanilla bean, and brown sugar, alongside a faint whisper of toasted oak and dark chocolate. A subtle herbaceous note, like mint or spearmint, surfaces as it opens up.

Palate: The palate delivers on the promise of the nose, offering a powerful yet elegantly balanced experience. Initial burst of peppery rye spice and cinnamon bark, quickly mellowing into rich caramel, maple syrup, and dark fruit compote (figs, dried cherries). The 101.2 proof provides a substantial warmth without overwhelming, allowing notes of baking spices, toasted almond, and a nutty oak char to emerge, providing depth and structure.

Finish: The finish is long, warm, and exceptionally satisfying. The rye spice lingers gracefully, evolving into a pleasant, drying oak tannin that coats the mouth. Sweetness recedes slightly, giving way to echoes of dark chocolate, espresso, and a persistent, soothing warmth with a final spicy kick, leaving a memorable impression of complexity and maturity.
