As it opens, delicate floral undertones emerge, reminiscent of jasmine and honeysuckle, alongside an intriguing earthy depth.

Palate: The entry is beautifully textural, coating the tongue with a creamy, almost viscous mouthfeel. A vibrant sweetness of cooked agave immediately takes center stage, complimented by a bright citrus zest, perhaps mandarin or grapefruit peel. This evolves into a more complex savory profile, with notes of fresh herbs, black pepper, and a distinct mineral character that speaks to its terroir. A verdant, slightly herbaceous quality, perhaps cilantro or fresh tarragon, weaves through the mid-palate, leading to a subtle, yet persistent, warmth.

Finish: A long, elegant finish that is both clean and complex. The cooked agave sweetness lingers, slowly giving way to a pleasant peppery spice and a refreshing minerality. Underlying notes of bell pepper and a faint, almost buttery texture remain, suggesting a well-integrated distillation. The overall impression is one of sophistication and an authentic expression of the agave.

https://takeyourpickliquors.com/products/2022-lagrimas-reposado-tequila-palo-verde-rancho-unico-92-proof-750ml
