As it opens, subtle notes of dried dark fruits like fig and raisin emerge, underpinned by a delicate spice, perhaps cinnamon and nutmeg, and a whisper of toasted oak.

Palate: The palate is surprisingly luscious for its proof, delivering a wave of sweet caramel and butterscotch up front. This quickly gives way to a complex blend of baking spices, dark chocolate, and a pleasant nuttiness. The 'twice finished' aspect likely contributes layers of dried cherry, apricot, and a sophisticated, integrated oak presence that avoids bitterness.

Finish: The finish is long, warm, and exceptionally smooth, with lingering notes of sweet oak and a gentle rye spice. Traces of dark fruit and a delicate char remain, evolving into a pleasant warmth that coats the palate, inviting another sip.
