Underlying notes of toasted oak, vanilla bean, and a hint of baking spice – cinnamon and nutmeg – emerge, beautifully balanced by a subtle nutty character and a touch of molasses.

Palate: The palate delivers a luxurious, medium-bodied experience. A wave of syrupy sweetness washes over, featuring brown sugar, dark cherry, and a pronounced, almost candied, fruitiness from the PX sherry. This is expertly interwoven with classic bourbon notes of sweet corn, caramel, and vanilla. A gentle spice of black pepper and clove provides a welcome counterpoint, preventing it from becoming cloyingly sweet, while the 100 proof offers a pleasant warmth without harshness.

Finish: Long and satisfying, the finish lingers with a delightful interplay of sweet and savory. The dried fruit and sherry notes persist, evolving into a pleasant, almost chocolatey richness. Oak tannins provide a subtle dryness that balances the sweetness, leaving behind traces of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a final, faint echo of spice.
