Hints of toasted oak and a delicate spice, like cinnamon or nutmeg, emerge with air, lending depth and complexity.

Palate: The palate is remarkably smooth and well-rounded for its proof, presenting a harmonious blend of sweet and savory. Initial flavors of candied orange peel and brown sugar quickly transition to a pleasant nuttiness, reminiscent of roasted almonds. A gentle current of baking spices, especially black pepper and clove, provides a mild but engaging heat, balanced by a creamy texture and a touch of rye spice.

Finish: A medium-long finish that is both warm and satisfying. Sweet notes of toffee and vanilla linger, gradually giving way to a pleasant dryness from the oak. A faint echo of roasted coffee beans and a final, subtle spice tingle complete the experience.

https://takeyourpickliquors.com/products/2010-woodford-reserve-kentucky-derby-136-woodford-reserve-90-4-proof-1-liter
