A touch of rye spice might emerge, adding a slight edge to the otherwise mellow aroma.

Palate: The palate opens smoothly, showcasing a medium body that carries initial flavors of sweet cereal grains and creamy vanilla. Brown sugar and a hint of butterscotch develop, balanced by a gentle oak influence that suggests a moderate aging period. There's a soft touch of baking spice – perhaps nutmeg or cinnamon – providing a comforting warmth rather than a sharp bite. Given it's a blend, it likely aims for broad appeal, emphasizing smoothness over robust intensity.

Finish: A relatively clean and medium-short finish, leaving a pleasant warmth with lingering notes of sweet vanilla and a soft, dry oak. The subtle spice recedes gently, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for another sip. No harsh ethanol burn, indicating a well-integrated blend.

https://takeyourpickliquors.com/products/1957-old-sunny-brook-division-of-national-distillers-86-proof-1000ml
