Subtle notes of caramel and butterscotch emerge, hinting at its age. A light oak presence provides a delicate spice, with a touch of dried fruit, possibly apricot or fig, adding complexity.

Palate: The palate is approachable and mellow, showcasing a pleasant balance of sweetness and oak. Initial impressions of sweet corn pudding and vanilla custard give way to a soft caramel and toffee. A delicate spice, reminiscent of baking cinnamon and nutmeg, gently builds. There's a creamy mouthfeel, with a subtle nutty undertone and a whisper of dried cherry. Given its proof, it drinks smoothly without much heat.

Finish: The finish is medium in length and quite clean.
